After camping for many years in many different locations we have been searching for something that we love to go camping in, that is also quick and easy to set up and pack up. We found it when we created the Piggy Back Camper. This camper is suitable for campers of any age from the young family to the retired traveler.
Our design is unique in that you can pack our camper when it is closed and you can access everything from the outside and almost everything from the inside. We use crates for storage as it allows the packing process to be easy for everyone.
The team at Piggy Back Campers has set out to make a slide-on camper that takes in the whole camping experience. We all know the main advantage to a slide-on camper is that you can still tow the boat or motorbike trailer. The real objectives to us where the following:
- A camper that can be fully packed without being opened or crawling into a confined space to do so.
- A camper that you can access your gear along the road. i.e. your swimming togs and towel.
- A camper that you can pack those extra supplies at any stage along the road and pack into the right place ready for easy retrieval.
- A camper that is setup in minutes and be able to be removed from the vehicle.
- A camper that has standard a queen size bed.
- A camper that is unpacked and cleaned in the shortest amount of time.
- A camper that can piggy back on all standard tray top utes and also on a trailer.
Well we have met all of our objectives and we are ready for you to take advantage of our extensive testing and development. We present to you the Piggy Back Camper.
We are still continuing to enhance our camper by releasing a full composite fiberglass construction for its strength and light weight features. As well as a range of accessories that can be added to our units at any stage. For example swing-away bike racks, jerry can holder, solar panel racks and most exciting a kid’s room under the lid for the dual cab units.
When searching for your new camper we urge you to consider the following:
- Can you pack the camper with out having to open it
- Can you access your clothes at any stage for that relaxing swim in the thermal pools
- Can you pack those extra supplies aboard whilst on your travels
- Can you get a drink from the fridge and maybe some food from the pantry draw at any stage
- How easy will the camper be to unpack and clean up ready for the next adventure
